Esther Staum Katz
Esther Staum Katz has worked in the fields of formal and informal education for more years than she would care to admit. As a former middle school teacher and later the principal of a middle school, a high school and a post high school vocational program for children and young adults with special needs, Esther thrives on meeting people and helping them to discover their affinities and innate talents. A camper at heart, Esther has spent over 20 years at NJY Camps, where she serves as the Director of Camp Shoshanim as well as the Director of Special Needs Programs for all of NJY Camps. She is the proud mother of 3 former NJY campers and the grandmother of 3 future campers. She loves and is passionate about who we are and what we do at Camp Shoshanim.
